Our next PD session is Saturday, January 23, 2009. The morning will be Personal Tax Update and the afternoon will be Corporate Tax Update. You will be able to register for one or both parts.  This year the tax update will once again be presented by Derrold Norgaard, FCA.  Mr. Norgaard is returning to us after a well received presentation last year.

A bit about Mr. Norgaard, who was awarded the Fellowship designation in 2008: Mr. Norgaard became a CA in 1985 and has been office managing partner of KPMG LLP’s Victoria office since 2004. He started his career in Chilliwack with McKnight Johnson, which later became Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG), and worked in the Vancouver office throughout the 1980s as a tax specialist and manager. He became a partner in 1994, and relocated to Victoria the following year. Today, he specializes in corporate reorganizations; estate planning; and Canadian, US and international tax planning, working with a range of private and public companies. (CICA)
